Email remittance advice

Overview

Filling out the remittance template and emailing the updated document to TI creates the remittance advice in TI's enterprise system. For every remittance advice document that TI receives, the sender will receive an email response with updated remittance response status in an excel attachment. The response document will contain TI remittance advice identifiers or error messages for any failed line items.

TI emails a financial invoice upon shipment. The email will include a single PDF attachment containing the financial invoice sent to the recipient email address provided during customer onboarding. We recommend providing a group list email using your own email domain, as individual contacts can vary over time. Often, customers will provide an automated e-reader email.

The TI Backlog Email suite uses TI standard templates and application programming (API) processing. You can send emails with file attachments to TI’s provided automated email for Quotes, Order creation, Order changes, and Remittance advice.

Backlog email suite

The backlog email suite is a collection of standard files that allow customers to place backlog orders for future inventory, update open orders, request quotes for new orders, receive backlog reports with updated order lead times, receive shipment tracking notifications and invoices, and submit remittance advice. TI's standard format for the backlog email suite is an email with an excel attachment (.xlsx).
